Invidi Granted Patent For Using Keyword Search In Addressable TV Advertising

Invidi Technologies, the addressable TV advertising developer that includes WPP's GroupM among its investors, announced it has received a key addressable advertising patent for a “System And Method for Inserting Media Based on Keyword Search.”

"This patent describes several techniques for using textual information associated with broadcast programming to pick and deliver assets to viewers or listeners," the company said, adding, "A platform on which these capabilities could be incorporated is an addressable advertising system for television."
