AT&T’s prepaid brand, GoPhone, next week will begin offering a new plan targeted specifically at smartphone users, offering unlimited talk, text
and 1GB of data for $65 a month, with no contract.
According to the company, the new plan saves $10 a month over previously available
options. The company will continue to offer a $50 unlimited talk and text plan, as well as a $25 250 minute/month plan, with optional data packages for customers who want them.
“As more of our prepaid customers choose smartphones, we wanted to offer them a rate plan that meets their needs while still being an excellent value,” said Judy Cavalieri, vice president, voice and prepaid products for AT&T, in a statement. “We're excited to offer this
new option to our growing base of smartphone customers to give them a better smartphone experience while keeping their budget in check.”
