Week two of the new TV season had CBS on top again -- but virtually all primetime shows were down versus the premiere week.
CBS, was at a Nielsen preliminary 2.9 rating/ 8 share among 18-49 viewers; NBC, 2.2/6; Fox, 2.0/6; ABC, 1.7/5; Univision, 1.5/4. and CW, a 0.5/1.
The best rated show was CBS' "NCIS" with a 3.6/11, down 12% from week one. The second ranked show "NCIS: Los Angeles" was at a 3.1/11, down 9%.
NBC's "Go On" and CBS' "Vegas" were the only two new primetime shows to get above a two rating -- but both lost ground week to week. The NBC comedy getting a 2.2/6, down 19% and CBS's drama ringing up a 2.1/6, down 16%.
Other rookie broadcast network shows went in the same direction: Fox' "Ben And Kate" went to a 1.6/5,
down 24%; Fox's "The Mindy Project" lost 21% to a 1.9/5; and NBC's "The New Normal" was at a 1.7/5 down 15%.
