Google Ventures Increases Annual Investments

Google will increase the funds it allocates to its venture-capital arms from $200 million to $300 million. Sarah McBride points to part of the rationale behind the increase as some companies initially backed have matured and require larger cash infusions to grow. The portfolio includes companies ranging from medicine to clean power to coupons.
