Comcast is bringing back the isolated, “dish head” community (that is reliant on satellite dishes for its television programming) in a series of spots to highlight its Xfinity television service.
The two new spots, from agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, depict a community in which residents wear satellite dishes around their necks. The first of the spots takes viewers on an anthropological trek to the remote community, while a second spots shows one of the community members at the gym contemplating making the switch from satellite to cable TV.
