A study which looked into how international audiences access news on different devices found the majority of those asked, 42%, use television as their "primary and first device" for
accessing breaking news information. The study of "more than 3,600 owners of digital devices" was carried out in nine countries across the world, including France, US, Germany, Australia, Poland,
India, Singapore, UAE and South Africa. The study did not include UK respondents.
