Email Volume Up 46% in the UK: DMA

Email marketing volume in the UK reached a record level during the first half of 2012, according to latest report from the Direct Marketing Association. According to the DMA, email volume averaged more than 3 billion messages a month. The National Email Benchmarking Report H1 2012 also revealed that social marketers are better integrating with email. In fact, 87% of social media marketers used email marketing and 61% planned to increase their email efforts.
