The Tribune company may have made a good move to buy more TV stations, as reported in another Around the Net item, yet overall it slumped significantly in the first quarter, with a 41% plunge in net
income, from $99.1 million in the year-earlier period to $58.4 million. "Advertising revenue in the company’s core publishing unit continued to skid, a reflection of the ongoing erosion of the
