Congressional aides in both the Senate and the House of Representatives may have had their email accounts hacked into. The staffers were notified of a potential security risk via email, which
explained that, "There have been reports online of Senate and House email accounts being exposed and hacked. According to the warning, account information and data had not been accessed or
stolen. The memo also pointed out that since their email addresses are publicly available, they are more likely to become the victims of spear phishing emails.
