Arnold Taps Dirty Yoga's Mitchell To Run Big Apple

Havas’ Boston-based Arnold Worldwide unit has named agency vet Corey Mitchell president of its New York operations. Mitchell, who will sit on Arnold’s global executive committee, joins from CEO of Humbug Industries and acting CEO of Dirty Yoga. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and managing director of Interpublic’s MRM unit, and before that, president of Omnicom’s TBWA/Chiat/Day New York operations.

Mitchell, who fills a post vacated by Lynn Power, who resigned earlier this summer, reports to Arnold Worldwide CEO Robert LePlae.

The appointment comes as Arnold is on a bit of a mini run, recently launching the first-ever branding campaign for 23AndMe, and following a string of new biz wins including Del Monte, Avocados of Mexico, Santander credit card business, Caleidos in Italy, Douwe Edberts in the UK; and, digital AOR assignments including CVS, Nexxus, and Volvo Cars of North America.
