Guy Gamzu and Erez Pilosof, the developers of the recently launched Ping email app, are renaming their app after they received a cease and desist letter from Karsten Manufacturing
Corporation, a golf products maker which owns the trademark for "Ping" in everything from chatrooms to computer software. Gamzu and Pilosof have plans to rename the app and republish it
