Consumers Love Discount-Related Emails: DMA

Consumers often sign up for emails in hopes of getting discounts, according to a new report from the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). The DMA recommends taking advantage of this by testing email subject lines such as '% off,' which could be more effective than 'half price' or 'save.' The report also found that subscriptions to branded emails are down from 43% in 2012 to 34% in 2013.
