OneSpot Raises $5.3 Million

OneSpot this morning announced that it has secured $5.3 million in a Series A financing round. The round was led by Mohr Davidow Ventures, which was an early investor in Rocket Fuel. Other investors include Mack Capital, RSL Ventures, Capital Factor, and Bazaarvoice co-founder Brett Hurt.

Additionally, Bryan Stolle, Mohr Davidow Ventures' general partner, has joined OneSpot's board of directors.

“Brands are accelerating the shift of digital marketing dollars to both content marketing and programmatic advertising," stated Stolle.

OneSpot plans to use the money to expand its sales and marketing efforts as well as its product development efforts.

A OneSpot representative said that September revenue was the most in company history, and, as of October 23, October was on pace to double September's revenue.

The round of investment brings OneSpot's total funding since launching its content advertising platform to $6.8 million.
