Periscope was named media planning and buying agency of record for Great Clips hair salons. The agency has served as Great Clips’ creative agency of record since 2011, and will now also handle
all strategy, planning and buying services for TV, print and digital, starting in mid-January. CompassPoint previously handled the media account. Great Clips spent an estimated $16 million on measured
media, according to Kantar Media. The brand, established in 1982, employs roughly 30,000 stylists in the U.S. and Canada.
