Late last month, Oracle announced that is is planning to acquire email marketing company Responsye for $1.5 billion in cash. After the announcement, Responsys' stock soared and now industry
analysts are speculating about if the offer was too low. Prior to Oracle's announcement, SAP had been looking at buying Responsys and now some analysts are speculating that the German software company
could enter into a bidding war with Oracle to acquire the company.
