Sixteen million email users in Germany have had their passwords stolen, according to revelations from Germany's Federal Office for Security. Cyber
criminals gained access to the email addresses and account passwords through attacks involving computers infected with malware. The agency has yet to say how they plan to stop the hackers, but they
have set up a website that allows citizens to see if they are victims of the hack.
