Despite the fear, Gmail Tabs is not hurting marketers. According to a new report from Yes Lifecycle Marketing more than 32 percent of Gmail users opted in to receive marketing messages in
2013. In addition, mobile purchases went up by 58 percent between Q3 and Q4 2013, and Yes Lifecycle Marketing's research shows that 55 percent of all email opens happened on a mobile device
in Q4 2013.
