The
Way2ride mobile payment app lets New York City cab riders say good-bye to lost keys and wallets after digging through purses and pockets to pay the fare. With the VeriFone app, passengers simply get
into a cab, tap to pay the bill, and get out when they reach their destination. Passenger receipts saved in the app include route maps and tags for submitting expenses. The mobile app has processed
more than 250,000 mobile transactions, about $4.5 million in fares and gratuities, since debuting in October 2013.
