For those of us who were following Ford in the late 1990s Nick Scheele was the jocular, British guy at what was then Ford's Jaguar division. After a stint in Europe, he was brought
stateside to be president and COO of Ford from 2001 to 2004, and president from April 2004 until he retired in 2005. Scheele, 70, whom some of remember as the affable guy at shows, conferences
meetings and reveals, died Friday.
