Ladar Levison, the creator of the now-shuttered email encryption service Lavabit, has a new encryption tool available through his Dark Mail project called Dime. Dime uses
multiple layers of cryptography in order to prevent spying eyes from reading an email's content or metadata as the message is sent from the sender to the recipient. The
provider itself cannot read the emails, therefore preventing any law enforcement agency from requiring that the files be turned over.
