Students at the
Provost of University College London (UCL) received more than 3,000 emails in their inbox last night after a student sent out a mass email to all 29,000
students without adding a bcc. The email simply said "Bello," a phrase used in British comedy show Fonejacker
. This led to a snowball of responses of
people replying to the note. The school says that the sender did not originate from the school and was impersonating a UCL student.
