The Music & Media Group of Vivendi Universal Net USA today announced the appointment of ALLISON CORSON MELLON as Vice President of Western Sales. She is responsible for managing the group’s West Coast advertising sales teams and maximizing advertising and sponsorship revenue from VUNet USA’s popular network of music and media websites: MP3.com, RollingStone.com, GetMusic.com, MP4.com and EMusic.com. Based in Los Angeles, Mellon reports directly to Terry Ash, the group’s executive vice president of national sales. Mellon joins VUNet USA from ValueClick, Inc. where she was Vice President of Western Region Sales. While at ValueClick, she provided the foundation for a brand product strategy in addition to day-to-day management of the sales team.
