New York Post Publisher
KEN CHANDLER is leaving the newspaper after three years at the helm and 29 years with its parent News Corp., according to Editor & Publisher. Chandler will become CEO
of the Natural Energy Solutions Corp., a multimedia company specializing in health-related information. News Corp. Deputy Chief Operating Officer
Lachlan Murdoch will become the Post's
publisher, sharing operational oversight with the paper's general manager, Geoff Booth, the paper said. During Chandler's tenure in the top business-side position, the Post has seen dramatic
circulation increases, due in part to single-copy sales prices that dropped the daily newsstand rate to 25 cents and the Sunday rate to 50 cents.
