Johns Hopkins University Sends Applicants the Wrong Email

Johns Hopkins University has been confusing its applicants through a series of conflicting emails. First "Early Decision" applicants received a note saying that they did not get in. This was followed by an email saying that they did get in. Finally, the institution sent out an apology email explaining that the decisions were correctly posted on its website and students should follow that post to determine if they were accepted or not.

    It is just terrible. You know how much stress applicants experience during their admission process? Some even take pills. It is one thing to get a false negative result and then learn that you were accepted. But it is another thing that you were accepted and then find out that it is not true. I am sure many started to buy essay application to other colleges as there is still some time left to apply someplace else. I hope the University will take responsibility for the actions and its consequences.
