Atheists Speak Out Against Troy University Holiday Email For Being Too Religious

Atheist groups are upset after Troy University chancellor Jack Hawkins' end of year email included a nod to religion. The email, which went out to students and faculty, urged students to feel thankful for democracy and linked to a video in which Harvard Business School professor Clay Christensen speaking about his encounter with a Marxist economist from China. In the video, he tells the story of how the Chinese economist praised the U.S. for its strong ties to religion.
