Mobile Payment App Venmo Updates Email Security Process

Venmo, a mobile payment app, has updated the security of its app by creating a stricter authentication process along with email notifications. The app will send notification emails to users anytime their number, email address or password is changed. These confirmation alerts will be sent to their original email address as well as to the new email address. Phone verification messages, will also be sent to the new and old numbers.
