GS&P Confirms The Agency's Future Creative Leadership

GS&P has tapped Margaret Johnson and Eric Kallman as leaders of the agency’s flagship  San Francisco creative department, the shop confirmed Tuesday.

Executive Creative Director Johnson is an 18-year veteran of the firm who has produced award-winning work for Häagen-Dazs, HP, Nike and Logitech. She became one of the agency’s five partners in 2012.

Kallman, who becomes executive creative director, joined GS&P in March 2014. Also an award-winning creative, he is known for his work on Skittles, Old Spice, Career Builder, Coca-Cola, Kayak, Little Caesars and Ragu.

“This is a true reflection of how we are really working right now,” said co-chairman Jeff Goodby. “Rich [Silverstein] and I will continue in our roles as advisors and guiding hands. But Margaret and Eric are now the ones with ultimate responsibility for the work on each of our accounts. They have brought a renewed life and energy to everything we do.”

Paul Caiozzo came aboard as executive creative director of GS&P’s New York office in May and will continue to lead the creative department there.

“Margaret, Eric and Paul are the next generation of creative leaders for the agency,” said co-chairman  Silverstein. “We’re not retiring; this just allows us to stay focused on the big picture, which is making this a great place to work with great clients.”
