Many Outlook.com email users were left without access to their inboxes for a few hours on Wednesday. Users accessing the client through
Windows Live Mail, Outlook Connector,
MSN Premium client Windows Phone 8.1 and the Windows 8 Mail Client all experienced this service disruption. The company fixed the issue after a few hours but did not reveal the cause.
