We’re not even halfway through 2015, but
the upcoming 2016 Presidential election is already hitting the news waves. As more candidates announce their intentions to run, the less glamorous side of election season begins kicking into gear as
well.
Case in point: DSPolitical, a digital ad network exclusively for Democratic campaigns that allows nominees to reach likely voters. The company this week announced the appointment of Kevin Walling as director of business development.
Walling joins DSPolitical from Stones’ Phones, where he served as a senior strategics for over three years, per a release.
The announcement serves as further proof that programmatic advertising will play an important role in the 2016 elections, a topic explored by Advertising Age earlier this week.
