Krux, a data management platform (DMP), has hired Jon Suarez-Davis as chief marketing and strategy officer, AdExchanger has reported. Suarez-Davis was formerly VP of global media and digital
strategy at Kellogg’s.
“Despite Krux’s roots serving publishers, Kellogg’s -- one of the early adapters of programmatic media buying -- opted to work with it two
years ago,” AdExchanger writes. “Suarez-Davis, an exec at the food manufacturer since 2009, recalled Kellogg’s internal debates about partnering with a DMP that
didn’t have as much of an advertiser heritage.”
Now at Krux, Suarez-Davis will see the challenge from the other side of the equation. One of his tasks, notes AdExchanger, will be
to lure more marketers to Krux’s DMP.
