After Data Breach Federal Employees Mistrust Legitimate Emails

The recent massive data breach against the U.S. federal government's Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has led to a break down in trust and the rise of confusion among federal employees. The OPM recently sent out a series of emails with information about the breach, encouraging employees to follow a link to sign up for third-party credit monitoring services. However, these legitimate emails were being flagged as spam and ultimately the department stopped the email program.
