TiVo Taps Foster To Run Measurement Unit TRA

TiVo has named a highly regarded research executive, Frank Foster, to run its single-source audience measurement unit, TiVo Research and Analytics.

Foster, who assume the role of senior vice president and general manager of TRA, has spent more than a decade trying to innovate the TV audience measurement industry, including top roles at Comcast, AT&T and defunct Nielsen rival erinMedia.

He joins TiVo from Comcast’s Crossbeam Media unit, where he was president and general manager. Prior to that, Foster was vice president-advanced media sales and planning at Comcast Spotlight, as well as head of television advertising sales and television product development for AT&T AdWorks.
