Fire at Server Causes Email Disruption in Japan

More than 8 million email users in Japan experienced an outage after a fire at a communications center. KDDI Corp. reported damage to its email servers when the air conditioning failed after the fire reached high temperatures. The company is working to address the issue and many users have regained access to their accounts.
