Native DSP Bidtellect Raises $22.35M

Bidtellect, a native advertising demand-side platform (DSP), recently announced the close of a $22.35 million Series B round of funding. The round was led by Blue Chip Venture Company.

Also participating in the round were G20 Ventures and Valhalla Partners, an existing investor.

Per a prepared statement by Lon Otremba, CEO of Bidtellect, the company intends to use the new funding to invest in programmatic ad tech and automatic content recommendation. The company will also attempt to add new clients in Europe and Asia.

“We are experienced investors in this sector and have been evaluating opportunities in native for some time,” stated Jack Wyant, founder and managing director of Blue Chip Venture Company, which has invested in the likes of Adelphic and [x+1] over the years.

Bidtellect had previously raised $4.4 million in a Series A round in 2012.
