Everyone in advertising has their pet project, right? So why not a book about crazy things one has heard while going about one's daily routine in life? That's just what Saatchi & Saatchi Art
Director Mete Erdogan did with his new book appropriately titled Eavesdropper; Overheard On The Streets.
Brooklyn-based Erdogan works as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi New York,
crafted one eavesdropper drawing with accompanying text representing interesting dialog he overheard for the period of one year, making 365 pages in all.
The project originated as an
@eavesdropper Instagram account on which Erdogan, who has garnered 31,000 followers, would post random and interesting things he heard in and around New York City.
Much of what Erdogan
overheard, naturally, emanated from the halls of the Saatchi & Saatchi New York offices -- so no doubt, the book's content will be interesting and relevant to those of you in the agency world.
To celebrate the launch of the book, there will be a launch party and book signing Tuesday, August
