Encrypted Email Service Lavaboom Shuts Down

Email encryption services firm Lavaboom has shut down, according to a report in The Register UK. The German-based encrypted mail service was founded base don user demand after Edward Snowden revealed that the NSA was reading people's email. The firm was supported by crowdfunding but according to reports, the company didn't reach its financial goal to fully develop its product.
