Reese's Promos To Feature College GameDay Hosts

Kicking off the college football season, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is featuring the hosts of ESPN's College GameDay Built by the Home Depot, Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit, in television, video, social media and in-store promotions.

The new efforts are part of a multi-year deal that the Hershey Company brand signed last December to be an official sponsor of ESPN's College GameDay Built by the Home Depot, College Football Playoff and ESPN College Football.

Every Saturday, Davis and Herbstreit will highlight college football traditions as part of Reese’s “GameDay Greatness” video features, which will air on both ESPN and ESPN.com.

Throughout the season, Reese’s will host a “Team Up for the Win” promotion encouraging fans to take photos of themselves enjoying game days with friends and family, and share them on social media using #TeamREESES and #ContestEntry. Fans will vote on entries on TeamREESES.com, and the top 10 entries will win Reese's prize packages and be eligible to compete for the grand prize, an "ultimate ESPN College DameDay experience/trip."

Davis and Herbstreit will spotlight some of the most die-hard college football fans and help Reese’s select a grand prize winner.

In addition, on Sept. 19, Reese’s will offer fans with exclusive on-site access to Davis and Herbstreit, along with interactive games and experiences.

Last year, the brand announced a multi-year deal to serve as an official sponsor of ESPN's College GameDay Built by the Home Depot, College Football Playoff and ESPN College Football.

The candy brand is also the title sponsor of the annual Reese’s Senior Bowl, featuring the nation’s best senior collegiate football stars and top draft prospects.

Early this year, the candy brand ran a social media campaign and videos featuring comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
