LinkedIn Settles Class-Action Email Suit

LinkedIn has settled a class-action suit over the social network's sending behavior. The company was sued for its Add Connections feature, which would sent out requests to people in a user's contact list who did not already have a LinkedIn account. LinkedIn then sent reminder emails to people who did not sign up. The company has denied that they did anything wrong but has agreed to pay $13 million into a fund to pay out to eligible users.
