In an effort to bolster its digital offerings, United Talent Agency has hired former MediaLink Senior Vice President David Anderson. While at MediaLink, Anderson oversaw work for Conde Nast, Twitter, Hulu, Zynga and Funny or Die.
Anderson will help UTA -- which launched its digital practice in 2003 -- identify and create opportunities between various consumer brands and UTA clients in digital spaces. UTA clients include Delta, LinkedIn, Barneys New York and the Consumer Electronics Association.
Of Anderson joining the firm, UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer said: “As advertisers continue to move further upstream in content creation and distribution, David’s track record and relationships will be an important part of developing opportunities for clients in this space."
Prior to MediaLink, Anderson headed digital and branded entertainment at Shine -- and before that, headed strategy at Fox Audience Network.
