Comcast reset the email passwords for about 200,000 of its email users over the weekend. The company changed the passwords after a database of customer information was listed for sale on a dark web
marketplace for $1000. The database included 590,000 accounts, most of which were inactive. Only 200,000 accounts from the list were still live. The company has not explained how the data was
leaked.
