R/GA hired Alex Schneider as vice president, managing director of the Portland office. He reports to Sean Lyons, president, U.S. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer of Windy Hill Spirits in Nashville. Schneider began his career in client services at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners. He also held roles at Ogilvy & Mather, Deutsch LA and 72andSunny, where he was director of brand management. "Alex is joining us at an exciting time as we are seeing phenomenal growth in our Portland office, which supports our award-winning work for Nike," said Lyons. "As part of this, we have moved some of our best and brightest out there, where they will also work with our offices in our west coast region, including Los Angeles and San Francisco."
