Fifty percent of email replies are sent within an hour of being opened, according to a new study by USC Viterbi School of Engineering. The researchers examined email responses of more than 2 million
users exchanging 16 billion emails over the course of several months, and also found that 90 percent of emails are answered within 48 hours of being opened.
