It is old news that traditional polling has not had the best year. Novel ways of gauging voter sentiment are being developed, and incrementally used more often. These include online polling and live-interview polling. Traditional polling can vary greatly, as can online and live-interview polls. With the primaries creeping up on the horizon, pollsters will be looking at which polling methods end up being most accurate. A significant measure of the methods' success will be which polling numbers match Trump’s actual share come voting day.
