Millions of consumer email addresses have been stolen from companies and then sold on the dark web, a new website wants to help consumers know if they have been exposed. Recent data breaches at
firms including: Tesco, Adobe, Ashley Madison, VTech, Adult Friend Finder, Sony and Minecraft Pocket have created the demand for such a site. The new website, https://haveibeenpwned.com,
helps consumers identify if their data has been leaked and if they are vulnerable to spam attacks.
