The Interactive Advertising Bureau has appointed online ad exchange OpenX co-founder and CRO Jason Fairchild as a co-chair of the IAB Programmatic Council.
Council leadership includes the
IAB&'s Benjamin Dick, director of industry initiatives, co-chair Bob Arnold from Google, and co-chair Jason White from CBS Interactive. The group aims to help advise the industry through the
changing programmatic landscape.
As a co-chair, Fairchild's responsibilities include talking with industry influencers about current industry topics, developing standards and creating
learning and training modules related to programmatic advertising.
According to a recent report from Business Insider, OpenX is looking to be acquired or sold.
