Retail Email Volume Increased in Q3 2015

The volume of emails sent by retailers was up 27.6 in Q3 2015, over the same period last year and up 5 percent from Q2, according to a new report from Experian. The Experian Marketing Service “Quarterly Email Benchmark Report found that consumers were willing to respond to this increase in volume. Unique open rates for retail emails increased to 16.6 percent from 16.2 percent. However,  average order size dropped to $162.51 from $184.97.
