Among all the predictions swirling around the 2016 presidential elections, the mock convention at Washington and Lee is one of most intriguing. The student-run event has correctly nominated the party’s non-incumbent nominee in 19 of 25 attempts -- only missing two since 1948. This year they picked none other than Donald Trump, another piece of evidence pointing to the mogul’s staying power.
