Some email marketers like to use email preference centers in order to give consumers control. The idea is that subscribers are more likely to stay on your list if they can set the frequency and
type of content that they receive. Yet these tools can be expensive to maintain and may not be worth it if customers don't use these tools. In this case, marketers may be better off just using
personalization data to try to tailor these messages for their customers.
