Britain First Found in Violation of Email Rules

Conservative political party Britain First has violated advertising law in a recent marketing email, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). After a recipient of the email complained to the ASA, that the email had been unsolicited. Britain First defended its practices and said that it only sends permission based emails. The group suggested that perhaps the recipient had been signed up for the emails by someone else.
