Inbound e-mail sent through an encrypted connection to Gmail users has increased 25 percent, according to Google. The company revealed that back in February they started
identifying unencrypted emails sent to its users and letting Gmail users know which messages lacked encryption. In response, other email providers seem to be providing more encryption or more
information on how to encrypt. Non-encrypted email is more likely to be exposed to hackers in transit.
